Pickup is built to move AI chat context locally in your browser. We do not run an AI service that reads or stores your conversations.

What the extension stores

The extension stores limited local data in your browser, including transfer count, Pro status, account email, recent transfer metadata, and temporary file data for files you attach during a transfer. Temporary file data is scoped to the current chat page and expires automatically.

What our server stores

For paid accounts, we store the checkout email, plan, Stripe customer/subscription IDs, account status, browser install activations, and short-lived sign-in codes. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.

Payments and email

Payments are processed by Stripe. Transactional emails are sent through Resend. We do not store full card numbers or payment method details.
